Mars farce

just went out to see if i could see Mars, like every one else, as the world gazes at Mars.. but i see nothing! just clouds and a smattering of stars...

maybe it is really true that "cloudy weather in parts of the Asia-Pacific zone, where night falls first, prevented many from witnessing the spectacle" as the article says..

oh dear, does this mean i have to wait another 284 years???
