Happiness is a journey, not a destination

"When you ask a child, “what makes you happy?” A child might reply, “clouds” or “petting my puppy.” As we get older we are convinced that happiness is some formula, an ingredient list that once combined will create the state of eternal bliss. We seek out temporary states of bliss through drugs, relationships, sports and sex. We psych ourselves up, convinced that this time, it will not fade. Realty kills the buzz every time. We wake up to discover: Pleasure is not always happiness, afterglow is not meant to be a 24/7 promise and no win is so big that it’ll be the last challenge we will ever have. No relationship will ever fill the void you created inside yourself. Happiness is acknowledgement of the world as it is today. ..."

WORK LIKE YOU DON’T NEED THE MONEY

LOVE LIKE YOU’VE NEVER BEEN HURT

AND DANCE LIKE NO ONE’S WATCHING.
