just watched Battle Royale - stomach-churning, gripping Jap movie set in the future where a bunch of high-school students are stranded on a deserted island in a bizarre govt-instigated "competition/game" in which only one person is allowed to leave - alive. So everyone turns murderer and chops, shoots, arrows, stabs, poisons, sickles etc everyone else just to stay alive.. very gruesome but rather pointless...can't remember much else about the show now..

have been "invited" back by school to help the students rescue their silk painting works tomorrow - still a chance to redeem myself : p hope the kids aren't so destructive tomorrow as they were yesterday - being "Miss Aw" cum "-cher" is really not so easy... gonna think twice about teaching...
