a friend of mine just introduced me to famous Nobel Laureate and Chilean poet, diplomat and Marxist Pablo Neruda (once described as the world's greatest poet).. he has written, among many other "Elementary Odes" (including Ode To the Tomato and Ode To a Large Tuna in the Market), my favourate one known as Ode To Life.. too long to paste it in my blog.. please go and read it, it's lovely..

Pablo Neruda was featured prominently in the charming Italian film as the poet who helps the postman to win his girl in The Postman (Il Postino) (1995).. remember?
